If you’re on a Mac with the Safari browser, some activities don’t automatically play sound at the beginning. You can fix this with a setting in your Safari Preferences that allows Starfall sounds to Auto-Play.

Set Preferences to allow Starfall sounds to Auto-Play:

  1. Open www.starfall.com in your browser window.
  2. In the upper left of your browser menu bar, select: Safari > Preferences. Then click the Websites button in the top bar.
  3. Select the Auto-Play option from the menu on the left side to open the list of websites to review.
  4. Find “starfall.com” (there may be a long list) and set the option to “Allow All Auto-Play.”
  5. Close your Preferences.
